We serve a God of infinite grace, a grace evident in my own life. Over the years, I’ve learned the Lord stands by patiently waiting for us to relinquish control of our lives so He can work His perfect plan through us. His desire is to save us from ourselves and put us into His service, which is always the service for which He has uniquely designed us. I am humbled to be in His service and on this journey with you.
I graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1983 followed by a career in the Air Force which brought me to San Antonio. I graduated from St. Mary’s University and began a second career in education. It was during this phase of my life that I came to know Jesus personally, and after many years of skepticism I finally gave God control and my life changed drastically. I eventually decided to go back to school yet again and entered Seminary. Lord willing, I will graduate in the spring.
I have two grown daughters, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren who are a constant joy and a reminder that God can bestow on us a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair--Isaiah 61:3.
