03 Consistent with The Word

When Christians say we follow what the Word commands us, is our actions consistent with that statement? As the Apostle James writes this letter to the believers of his time, one thing he makes clear: “Be doers of the Word and not hearers only”. Why would consistency matter in a world that is always observing the actions of believers? James lays out some humbling practical commands in his letter to reaffirm what it means to be followers of the Way, that are still applicable for us today.
